The third annual Learning Centre Student Writing Contest wrapped up at the April 14 Story Slam in the foyer of the New Westminster Campus Library, and there were so many creative and engaging stories shared throughout the event.
This year’s prompt invited students to write a short story in 700 words or fewer about a life-changing lesson that transformed their character’s world, beliefs, or direction in life.
Check out the top three winners of the contest, along with the crowd favourite who took home the Audience Choice Award.
