Relax, create, and recharge
From July 27-31 come and take your study break at the Zen Zone in the Library! Drop by to find your calm, and care for your wellness through resources and activities like colouring, puzzles, drawing, and origami which will be available to you all day. Featured workshops and activities will be held on select days and times.
- Draw Yourself Calm mini-workshop
The Zen Zone will feature a Draw Yourself Calm mini-workshop, where you can engage in slow drawing: simple, freestyle doodling that evolves into personal and creative patterns. This workshop will invite you to naturally connect with creativity, de-stress, and find inner calm.

- Navigating the Current: paper canoe making
The Zen Zone will feature a paper boat and canoe making session with Indigenous Student Services. Every student’s path is a unique voyage. Join this hands-on workshop where they use the art of paper boat making to map out our academic and personal journeys.
New Westminster: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday | 12-2pm
- Fidget keychain making
The Zen Zone will feature fidget keychain making. Turn a string of beads into a keychain that you can use to help you stay grounded and focused this exam season.
