NW - GenAI guidelines that actually work workshop
About this event
Join DESC (Douglas Educational Support Community) following the Employee BBQs at both Coquitlam and NW campuses for a targeted workshop on how to formulate your position on GenAI for your syllabus and your assessments.
We have a great afternoon planned with activities, presentations, and group work to help set you up for success around the thorny issue of GenAI and how you might communicate this to your students. By the end of the workshop, you will walk away with a process for creating your own GenAI statements to ensure clarity and transparency for your students.
Facilitating the two workshops will be Nathan Hall (Chair of DESC, ELLA faculty, and Educational Technology and Pedagogy Coordinator) and Nina Blanes (DESC member, BSN faculty, and Health Sciences Education Technology Coordinator), along with help from the Learning Designer team.
Coffee/tea and goodies will be also be provided.
Date: August 28
Time: 1:30-3:00pm
