Learning Centre Workshops

Workshops are led by Learning Centre instructors and staff. At the start of each term, Learning Centre Basics Workshops introduce essential study skills and helpful Learning Centre resources to support a strong start to the semester. Throughout the term, Skills for Academic Success workshops provide targeted study strategies to help students stay on track at key points in the semester.

*Please note that Learning Centre workshops are not recorded. If you are unable to attend the workshop but interested in learning more about the topic, please make a appointment with one of the tutors. You can also contact us in the Learning Centre via chat or by email, and we can direct you to resources on the topic.
 

Need a sign language interpreter

1. Book an appointment with a tutor.
    
2. Please visit the Accessibility Services webpage and email ASinterpreters@douglascollege.ca for booking a sign language interpreter (preferably 48 hours in advance).
    
3. Share the booking information with your interpreter:
   • For an on-campus appointment: please share the time and location of the appointment
   • For an online tutoring appointment: please contact to the Learning Centre for more information.
